This is the last of the intentions. All this information is on file at Swift RiverValley Historical Soc. and was copied by Mrs. Eunice Mackie, (now deceased) Assistant Librarian from Xerox copies of the original vital records, which were borrowed and reproduced by Dr. David Wetherbee of New Salem in his researchfor his book, HEARE LYES SALIM NEW GRANT.They were typed and filed with the assistance of Carolyn H. Chouinard, the Librarian,in Nov. 1968. Wendell has no Historical Society, and if the information contained in the 16 postings has helped one person or offered a clue to further information, then it has been worth it. These two named ladies have done volumes of research, typing,and consolidating records, genealogies and cataloging all sorts of information from Quabbin Valley and surrounding towns. They were, and Carolyn is still, a walking histoybook of the area. My thanks and grateful appreciation for all their work.
