How much money should your future spouse make?
A man may well want to marry a rich woman. However, he may also feel that a woman who makes a great deal of money could be intimidating. It could mean that she is successful in the rough business world, so she is likely to be strong and aggressive. She may hide this aggression on a date, but the man may want to investigate how she became so successful.
Similarly, a man who is not successful in business dealings might be too timid or shy for a woman, who wants to have a tough man. She may want somebody who will be able to handle the affairs of the house, home, business, and outside dealings and affairs in a forthright manner.
Thus, success in business may reflect his or her personality a new and different side of the partner's business.
Of course, the generalizations presented on this page do not always reflect reality. Nonetheless, the partner may feel that they are an indication that it would be wise to investigate the situation.
