Insurance Coverage-
The costs of ordinary & extreme weather
events
have increased rapidly in recent decades. As
climate change further intensifies the weather,
extreme events in some areas may begin to be
classified as un-insurable.Insurance Rates-
As extreme weather events increase in number
and instensity, the cost to repair the damages
increases greatly. This will undoubtably cause at
least some forms of insurance to rise in cost.
Health-
Increased exposure to vector borne diseases
(malaria, dengue fever, yellow fever and
encephalitis) will cause increased illness/death.
The number of annual heat-related deaths will
increase. |
