Initial impact of carbon dioxide increase expected
     to be beneficial to temperate crops. As the
     warming increases, however, the results will
     becoming increasingly negative.

Animals & Plants-
     Some spcies could become endangered or extinct.
     Coral reefs, arid/semi-arid and alpine habitats, as
     well as costal freshwater wetlands are most
     vulnerable.

Human Settlements-
     Increased intensity of heavy rains and tropical
     cyclones will increase risk of loss of life &
     property due to storm surges, flooding and wind
     damage.

Water Resources-
     Drying trends are projected for most of the area,
     decreasing water availability.
