IKDO is a Kosovar organization that promotes NGO
Law as an important mechanism toward the development of civil society
and the freedom of association in Kosovo. IKDO, in cooperation with
other domestic and international organizations, supports the development
of a legal system that protects the independence and long-term
sustainability of the NGO sector in Kosovo.
To promote the development and continued development of legal and
regulatory systems that encourage the growth of a strong civil society
through research, education, and advocacy;
To provide independent analyses of laws and regulations that affect
civil society in Kosovo to decision-makers within and outside the
government;
To provide a forum for key stake-holders to discuss the process of
establishing an appropriate legal environment that governs civil
society;
To encourage and support NGO Law education; and
To create a network of South-European civil society leaders
committed to the development of laws affecting civic society in
compliance with international principles and the European Convention on
Human Rights and Freedoms.

nj� shoq�rie t� fuqishme civile, n�p�rmes t� hulumtimeve
shkencore, arsimimit dhe avokimit
T� siguroj analiza t� pavarura t� ligjeve dhe t�
akteve t� tjera q� ndikojn� n� shoq�rin� civile n�
Kosov�, p�r marr�sit e vendimeve brenda dhe jasht�
qeveris�.
T� siguroj nj� forum p�r grupet me rol t� caktuar
n� marrjen e vendimeve, p�r t� diskutuar pro�esin e
vendosjes s� mjedisit t� p�rshtatsh�m juridik q� e
rregullon shoq�rin� civile.
T� inkurajoj dhe mb�shtes arsimimin n� fush�n e
t� drejt�s s� organizatave joqeveritare.
T� krijoj rrjetin e udh�heq�sve t� shoq�ris� civile
t� Europ�s juglindore t� zotuar p�r zhvillimin e t�
drejt�s q� ndikon n� shoq�rin� civile, n� p�rputhshm�ri
me parimet nd�rkomb�tare dhe me Konvent�n Europiane p�r
t� drejtat dhe lirit� e njeriut.
