It's not easy putting my hair up like this. It's barely long enough and between the bobby pins and rubber bands my fingers get all red and raw. But it's worth it. Shelly taught me how to do it after I showed her some pictures in "Seventeen." I can't wait 'til my bangs grow out a little longer; I want them to brush my eyelashes when I flutter them. I think that will be just so cool!

The jewelry is my mom's, so don't say a word. I'll be careful not to lose anything. Plus, I know where everything goes and I'll put it back later. Don't worry about it … I haven't been caught yet. Well, not lately, I mean.
