Surprise!

Like it? I found this braid in a pile of stuff my mom keeps in the back of her closet. There's all sorts of stuff there, like costume jewelry and makeup and hair bands and clips and stuff. This hairpiece is just about my color, and when you clip it on you just cover up the clip with a big ol' ribbon or something and you end up looking like … well, this!

Add some clip-on earrings and some bangles and a pair of sandals and I think I'm the best looking girl on the block. Even Shelly says so, though I just about died when she showed up at my door and caught me posing in front of the mirror. She agreed to not tell my mom as long as I let her join in the fun and watch me pose.

Poor Mom … I think I confuse her enough as it is ….
