Darn it!

I knew something like this was going to happen!

Last summer when we visited my aunt I spent a whole week running around in my cousin’s clothes. Everyone — even Mom! — thought it was hilarious, but I wasn’t happy about it at all.

I can’t believe they actually expect me to put this on. I mean, shoot, look at this thing. I’m almost eleven years old. Guys my age don’t run around in stupid clothes like this. That’s so dumb! I mean, look at me. This is like running around in girls' underwear.

Besides, it's almost too small for me. I mean, I can barely keep the bottom tied properly and it keeps coming loose.

What I don't understand is how can girls go around wearing stuff like this in the first place!

That does it. I'm telling Mom to forget it … I ain't going swimming, and that's that!
