1. The bill of materials is a list of all the required materials and components for the project.

2. A schematic uses lines to show all the electrical connections between components.

3. Have the tools available and heat up the soldering iron.

4. Bend the leads of the components to fit through the holes in the vector board as shown.

5. On the back of the board connect the components together,trim off excess wire, carefully heat up the connections and apply solder.

6. Attach the antenna.

7. Prepare the case by cutting the switch, antenna, and microphone holes.

8. Feed battery cable leads through the battery chamber slots.

9. Connect the switch.

10. Feed the antenna through the appropriate hole.

11. Mount the switch and board.

12. Install the battery.
