Patrols from the two countries have formed a Twinning Project to do natural area restorations on the weekend of April 17, 1999. The Canadian project will be conducted at Sharon Creek Conservation Area in London, Ontario. The Scout del Uruguay project will be conducted in a restoration area near Montevideo.

There were 30,000 Scouts from 145 different countries all camping in a small mountain valley (but big mountains). We were only 250 from Canada, but as usual, we made our mark. My troop had a great experience as they worked together to build friendships between themselves and with other nations.
