WHY THIS WEBSITE?

How many reasons do I really need to have this website? Probably none, but I have at least four reasons, which I know are pretty good. Anyway, it's here and only I or Geocities can remove it. It's still very new and hardly developed as I write this. Hopefully, as it becomes more developed it will be used as intended.

If the reader knows anything about the WWW I hope it is why the WWW exists at all. Of course, the original concept was to build a way to enable its users to easily share information. Read about Tim Berners-Lee and his colleagues at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland, entitled The World Wide Web.

Those of you who surf the web for pleasure or information, or if you have your own webpage as I do, share an understanding of my second reason. Quite simply, people like to talk about what they know best. Everyone knows about getting up on ones "soapbox". This is even better, since no dodging rocks, fruits or vegetables is necessary.

E-MAIL!!!
We all want mail, and if we have to build a website to get it, so much the better. My policy on email is that, if you email me, I will always return the courtesy. Feel free to critique my site, that is part of having a webpage, and I accept that. Questions regarding water treatment will usually be answered within 24 hours or less. Don't be concerned about boring me with your "highly technical problem", you won't, and I just may have a really good answer for you.

My fourth reason? Material gain, if possible.
I hope by now you realize that I am a technical consultant, and the website is a place to display what I have done, and what I could do for you, should you have the need. My resume provides a brief description of my background. The articles and case histories I have written display a more detailed view. Ask me about on site technical service in an email, and I will provide the particulars.
