This is the 4th version of bukbc.com, the official
website of Boston University Korean Business Club.
This entire site is a work of yichan as all previous
versions of bukbc.com. As this version might be
the last one I may design for the club, I took
some special care designing and developing the
site.
The development started around 9th of September
and it took only about 5 days to be ready for
09.14 launch of the site. This was the shortest
development time. It was possible by use of Macromedia
Fireworks 4 and Dreamweaver 4. Even though I used
those software for developing previous versions,
v2 and v3, as well, this time I had deeper and
better knowledge of these two awesome software,
and utilizing awesome features of these software
literally cut the development time by half.
The
main goal for version 4 of bukbc.com was to make
this site more user friendly and more content
rich so that it could serve better to our members
and visitors as well as looking good and fatastic
with 'wow' factor. Also, as we plan to utilize
website more than ever and encourage our members
to take advantage of bukbc.com, more interactive
features will be added to the site such as more
message boards, guestbook, chat, polls, etc. Visitors
can also expect more frequent updates. These will
finally let us accomplish our real goal :: world
domination!! :) hehe
This
site is best viewed with Internet Explore 5.x
or 6 with 1280x1024 resolution which happens to
be the exact same setting as my computer. You
should also set the browers text size for medium
or smaller. I used Macromedia Fireworks 4, Dreamweaver
4, and Photoshop 5.5 to develope this site.
