All faithful readers of NeuFutur and viewers of this site, we have our first semi-intelligent attack upon NeuFutur. You all may rememeber the Stupid People page, but I, for only the second time in the four years of zinemaking, was attacked for holding a certain ideology. This goes to a certain PR executive of a record small label. Obviously not knowing that I do not support any racially-motivated movement, this person declined to work with me for the simple reason that I have risque pieces on the site. One of these pieces, which I conducted sheerly in my own academic interest, was the John Murdoch interview. In this, I gave time to a member of a fringe group, who was able to expound his theories in a unbiased forum. One may also bring up the fact that Skrewdriver wasn't even a racially-oriented band for the first three years of their existence. I may not agree with any of John's theories, but I think that he, I, and true believers in what free speech truely stands for, believe the interview to be an extensions of the basic human right to free speech. The second prong of this person's attack came upon two songs that I chose for my Top Ten. Two songs, "The Snow Fell" and "Paint It Black", were by a English band called Skrewdriver, were featured in my top ten. This band is widely known to hold racalist beliefs, but that had nothing to do with either of these songs. The first, which describes Hitler's ignorant attack of Russia in the last stages of the second World War, has no racial connotations in the song. It is pointedly against the Communists, but only criticizes Iosef Stalin I, a man who was with Hitler neck-and-neck in the wholescale liquidation of innocent people. The second song, which may sound familiar, and what I believe that this person saw on my list, was a cover of The Doors' "Paint It Black", which has been covered by at least 20 bands since it came out.
If an anti-racist, fundamentalist Christian, or Satanist would want to an interview to be featured on this site, e-mail me. I will add anything to this site, provided that it helps promote or clarify what exactly a person or group is about. However, I stand by the idea of maintaining vox populis - the voice of the people, and will NOT bend to anyone. Also, don't bother asking me for the name of this record label, as I do believe in not hindering this rights or economic oppurtunities. I wish this person the utmost luck with their endeavours, as well as all members of the world race, regardless of race, denomination, sexuality, or the like.
