Remember I showed you the picture of me right after we flipped the raft. Well here is the picture taken about one second BEFORE we flipped the raft. Half a second later the raft was completely verticle nose down. I survived that...then we bounced off the water about four times front to side to front to back. I made it thru three bumps. You notice in the picture I am holding on to the cooler thinking that would keep me from falling in the river... well, I guess the only thing that acomplished was to provide me a false sense of security and control...

Now before I scare anybody off, most of the river has calm areas along with the rapids, so you almost always have a choice as to where ya wanna go. But what can I say? We saw the whitewater and headed right for the middle of it. I didn't drive 200 miles to float around in a duck pond!!
