title>An Underwater Traffic Jam!

Ok, I need to explain what is going on here. This is the scene during rush hour traffic at the fish ladders. Its hard to see because the traffic jam is underwater, but trust me...its there! Ya see, the fish traffic coming from the Hood River had been heavy all day. Everything was fine until the Columbia River fish traffic kicked in. Then all H*#% broke loose. Backups estimated at one hour or better throughout the rest of the evening...
Ok I was just joking...It isn't really the intersection of Hood and Columbia Rivers. The Hood River is farther east. Actually this is a fish ladder detour around the Bonneville Dam. Engineers discovered that the Salmon that run the Columbia didn't fair very well after going through the turbines at the dam. So this detour was built. How considerate of them...
