Danish Boomerang Throwers Having Fun

It all started in July '98 with me discovering Ulf's web site and that he live close to
where I work. I send him an email, which he was slow to answer. It turned out he was
been in the States for the World Cup as a spectator. Well, we started to throw
together, and Ulf put up a page
with our mug shots. This included Henrik, which Ulf already knew. In December, I got a
phone call from Harald Toft, who had seen Ulf's pages on the web. Harald quickly got the
boomerang bug and started making his own boomerangs almost immediately. While I spend a
peaceful Christmas holiday in Israel, Ulf got unexpectedly busy with Harald and his friend
Glenn, who ignored wind, frost and snow and dragged Ulf out of his hide at every opportunity
all winter.
One chilly January Sunday we got together at 10-�ren for some windy fun and freezing fingers. Another chilly and very much wintry January Sunday at Amager Hallen. During the Easter holidays, all five of us got together for the very first time. It quickly became a regular event almost every week-end. After an hour of warming up and fooling around testing various new designs, we usually end up playing suicide. |
