1969       Near Davie       Henry Ring was an officer in the Davie area close to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Officer Ring saw a huge black ape-like creature trapped in some trees in an orange grove. The creature was up in the trees while down below were some very angry and aggressive dogs barking and snarling at it. He said the creature then swung away through the trees and dove into a canal and made it's escape.

1969       Near Davie       Mr. Charles Robertson was hunting in an abandoned guava orchard some miles west of the Davie area. He was not too far off state road 84 in south Florida. While he was hunting he began to sense a very strong odor. When he began to look around he spotted a large black hair covered creature staring at him from the trees. He said the creature was at least 6 feet tall. In his fear, Robertson dropped his shotgun and made a hasty retreat. He then reported the incident to local police.

1969       Near Brooksville       Mr. Leon C. had a scary incident in the Brooksville area back sometime in 1969. An incident he would want to soon forget. He was traveling down state road 50 when all of the sudden a tall, hairy, man-like creature ran out and smacked the side of his car. Leon C. accelerated to 80 MPH and the creature kept pace running alongside the car at that speed! The incident was reported to the local police as well to the body shop that repaired the damage suffered in the incident.
