It was twilight when it hit me, this feeling within.
A sensation inciting my head to spin.
This feeling of bliss and joy and love imagined.
Toward a stranger of unequal beauty outside and in.
But not love imagined when it's felt in my heart.
And toward a stranger that's so far apart.
No. You are closer than imagined and this is only the start.
Of meeting one of God's most beautiful works of art.
Beauty unparalleled never seen before.
Your face and your eyes and all things I adore.
Yet there's a lot still to learn about you and your lore.
And your sweet words and thoughts have me longing for more.
So in closing I ask, which fate will I meet?
The one of jubillee or the one of painful defeat?
I pray for the former and pray to accomplish this feat.
To know my determination is to feel my heart beat.
If I could freeze time everything would be so much better.
If I could freeze time I'd think of what I'm going to say before saying it.
I could catch a falling dish before it hits the ground and shatters.
I could save any aniaml from being run over.
I could save any person from getting hurt.
I could take my time getting dressed and not be late for work.
I could freeze a sunrise and sunset and enjoy this beautiful sight,
longer than anybody else could.
It would be so much better if I could only freeze time.
But . . . but how good is all of this if . . .
if I had no one to watch the sun with?
Sure I could freeze time and take all the money from a bank.
But what would I accomplish here? I would just be a cheat and loser.
Sure I could freeze time and kiss the girl I most want to kiss.
But what good would that be? How good could it be if she doesn't kiss me back?
I believe it would be much better if time were not frozen,
and we could both kiss at the same time.
And we could both watch a beautiful sunrise or sunset at the same time.
And I believe I would be prouder of earning my money
and working for it than just freezing time and being a cheat.
I guess after thinking it over, life is fine the way it is.
No need to freeze time but there is one thing I could do . . .
Something we can all do . . .
We can slow time down. Think a little before saying something.
Take a little more time to relax and enjoy life and be with the one you love.
Yes, no need for freezing time but also no need for the everyday hurry, hustle and bustle of life. Yes . . . that is the solution. We must learn to relax and take things slower . . . it would be better for all of us.
