The Cat

He sat still and was a picture of perfect concentration
Studying his next move upon further examination
Diamond shaped pupils with a nine mile stare
Powerful, muscular body under his black hair
Unamused about superior forms of life
Skillful with his sharp claws and teeth like a knife
Ready to pounce at any given minute
Believing he can do it if he reached his limits . . .

Blasting off at breakneck speed!

Catching his prey to begin to feed.

After devouring his prey he becomes a different cat
One so cuddly and friendly, so cute and so fat
One so sleepy and happy and innocent looking too
Although minutes ago he angered you
But he is your cat and you love him dear
You forgive and forget and your anger dissapeares
