Webmaster's Reply: I've tested the page through Netscape Navigator 3 up, MS Internet Explorer 3.01 up, on 14K, 28K, 36K modems and our corporate WAN, and apart form the 14K, the response has been satisfactory. I can only suggest you look for bottlenecks on your side.

Residence: on earth, somewhere in the solar system.
Comments: Coreboarders rule. You foolish waveskiers need to throw away your paddles and learn to surf the way I do!!! " No excuses accepted" criple surfer, never mind being blind mole!!!. You could at least contact me and I will arrange a demonstration or two. Even better I will give my coreboard to you for the weekend and you my trial it. Believe me, you will never want to ride that wheelchair of yours again. Always riding the tube. ( The correct way. Not sitting down). Wishing the BOATIES good luck and may the best waverider perform to his best ability for nationals. Regards Slippery SEALCORE.
Webmaster's Reply: Still battling with the punctuation, I see, hey Craig?

Comments: Nice site. New to the sport. One of the few waveskiers up here in NorthWest part of USA. Wish we had point breaks. The sport is starting to gather interest and I am doing all I can to promote it. I have a couple Island boards Roy shipped up here. If anyone is traveling through Seattle, Wa look me up. Cheers, Dewey. (16 Oct 2000)
Webmaster's Reply: Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. Anyone keen to test the beach breaks in Seattle?

Comments: Maybe events should be more current and not something from 1998. Did you okes close the doors then? I am a keen waveskier and hungry to learn more about the sport and get more involved in it. G. (2 April 2000)
Webmaster's Reply: Thanks for the feedback, Gerhard, much appreciated. No, our doors are definitely not closed, just a slack webmaster! Will endeavour to do more updates, more regularly. Cheers!

Comments: You guys have a great site. Any advice for a yank that wants to visit South Africa. What type of boat do you guys ride? (8 Jan 2000)
Webmaster's Reply: Thanks for the pos feedback, James, I emailed you about sites and surf breaks in SA. Cmon over, its a great country! Generally, the guys surf customs made by Macski, Crusader, Kolaski, but there are also lots of private customs, too. Keep on surfing!

Comments: Good site need more pic's. (21 August 2000)
Webmaster's Reply: Good to hear from the great Pacman! Shot, Mark. I do try to source pics from all over but getting my grubby paws on the things is difficult. Guys dont want to part with their snaps despite promises that Ill return them, I mean, ask Craig Seale, Ive still got his portfoliooops! Actually, you are one of my inspirations in this sport. Like you I have eyesight problems, but I do wear contacts in the water now which helps, but when I first started, surfers used to scatter like frightened rabbits whenever I caught a wave!

Comments: Glad to see you moving into the future. Use to surf for the great UPE team! At the moment I'm in Italy and catching waves in the med believe it or not. Ask Duppie if he still has his funnel!! Greatings to all that might remember me. See you in the water whenever I drift by again. Cedric (31 Oct 2000)
Webmaster's Reply: Yoiks, now theres a blast from the past. Id wondered what happened to you, Cedric! Good to hear from you. Duppies only socially active in the sport now, but he hasnt stopped talking about The Funnel! He keeps threatening us with it, but his bark is worse than his bite so far! Cheers, Gert.

Comments: Hi Im coming over to South Africa in January for 2 months, probably to East London first, but was wondering about any other locations that are waveski friendly. Also, is Kolaski the best ski to buy there or are there better skis about. Surf here sucks at the moment and its f@#$&n cold! (12 Nov 2000)
Webmaster's Reply: Good to hear from the Green Isle. I replied to you email re breaks and local manaufacturers. Come over and enjoy yourself. I had to censor your comment slightly since this is a family website, but we get your drift.

Comments: Cannot seem to access Kolaski web site. Keen to see his Kola's work! Thanks, Nik! (5 Dec 2000)
Webmaster's Reply: Will check it out! In case you didnt know, Kola sold the brand name Kolaski to a local EL fiberglass manufacturing company. They are still making skis, to the best of my knowledge.

Webmasters Reply: I was wondering when Motormouth would add his 5 cents worth. Another wonderful product of the SA education system, as evidenced by the wonderful kd lang style grammar. Howzit, Anthony, isnt technology marvelous?

Name: Kieran Burns
eMail Address: [email protected]

Comments: I LOve the site the pictures are great as I never seen a waveboarder in action. I just bought a 2nd hand Dirty Habits custom board and I'm trying to figure out how to ride it. With little paddle experience and no company it's not easy. Worked up the courage to tie the lap belt and nearly drowned as it was too loose. But I'm getting the hang of the belt now. Yesterday I even got my feet in the footstraps and paddled 100 yds. What I really need is some guidance on rolling the board... any offers? (16 Apr 2001)
Webmasters Reply: Kieran, another Green Isle rep. Welcome. Refer to the email I sent you, and perhaps try contact Warren Beare above. Good luck and dont give up. Shaun Holmes is also coming over to Ireland for a few months. Perhaps the two of you can get together. Shaun, I want a report on waveski condition over the there. Dont mention the cold, its a given!

Comments: I finally found a site that actually shows my wife photo's of what the Wave/Paddle Ski looks like. I used to use my old one on the Vaal Dam and also in Klip-rivier. Since moving to Canada some 5 years ago, I can't seem to find anything like it here. I was wondering of where I could buy the board via the Internet? All I need is 2 of them. One in 130kg and the other in 90kg. If you know of a website, please let me know. Baie Dankie. (30 May 2001)
Webmasters Reply: Hello, Canada! I'm really pleased when foreign visitors respond to our page. Thanks for the response, Ray. Refer to the email I sent you regarding possible Internet vendors.

Comments: It's a pity that you guys can't play rugby like you waveski. I see that E.P. rules the waveski department. I am a old P.E. man, grew up there and I have been supporting them since I can remember, but I never ever tried to paddleski. I left that for my brother "Noddy". "Ek is bly jy maak opgang in die lewe daaronder, boet." (08 June 2001)
Webmasters Reply: Nah, we send all the best EP rugby players to Gauteng to help out in the Lions and Cats teams. Check your team stats to see from where, at least 25% of the members, hail from. Good ol' Eastern Cape. Thanks for the mail.
