It's a great honor for me, like author of this web site to have the opportunity
to give a little but very merited homage, to who is considered one of the
bests rhythmic gymnasts spanish speaker of all times, that with her exceent
technic quality and her special way, knew please and to give big emotions
to her public, in Spain and spanish speakers countries and the world, She
is Carolina Pascual.
The Great Carolina Pascual, was born the 17th june 1976, in the city of
Orihuela at south of the Province of Alicante which is placed aproximately
at South-East os Spain. At her bigining in this beautiful sport in, 1983
when she was 7 years old, her ballet teacher told her that she had qualities
to practice the rhythmic gimnastcs, for that reason, Carolina started to
train in the "Escuela de Competición de Murcia" and after of that
in the "Club Atlético Montemar", in Alicante, Capital city of her
natal province. In 1990 Emilia Boneva, who was the National Trainer of
Spanish Team, choosed her to enter to the National Team, where she got
her biggest resutls. About her retirement of the Rhythmic Gymnastics, she
did it in 1993, after the World Cup of Alicante, because that she thought
that it was the precise moment to dedicate to her studis and to her family.
Actually Carolina resides in her natal city, Orihuela, where she is Competition
trainer in the "Escuela Municipal de Orihuela".
