Shannon Johnson is one of our favorite basketball players. At 5'7" she earned the affectionate nickname of Peewee, a name which has stuck with her since she played on the volleyball team in 6th grade. But her game is anything but small. A top point guard in the ABL, Johnson has now brought her skills to the Orlando Miracle. Her fast break is a thing of beauty adn she is known around the league for her sky-high hops. Not only is she a great player, but one of the funniest, CrAzIeSt people. Always a fan favorite, she is tearing it up on her new court. Her game puts her among league leaders in many categories and she is an All-Star candidate. Her explosive but all-around games leave her with stats like this. On June 3rd, she hit 16 points and dished out 10 assists. To follow this up she added 19 points and 12 assists on June 13th! Not to mention a little 3-point buzzer beater to win a game against the Sting somewhere in between. On a team loaded with weapons, Johnson is always there to pick up the slack and make the big plays.
