Miracle Knock off Comets
The Orlando Miracle continue to prove that they are no ordinary expansion team. This time they did what few other WNBA teams have ever done, knocking off the Houston Comets 68-66. Shannon was a huge key in the victory, scoring 19 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, handing out 4 assists, and adding a steal stepping up to the challenge of Cooper and the Comets.

Miracle Defeat Winless Rockers
The Orlando Miracle continued their expansion success, defeating the struggling Cleveland Rockers 71-62. Shannon Johnson knocked down 21 points for Orlando, adding 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and a steal in the win. Teammat Sheri Sam was the game-high scorer with 22 for Orlando.

Miracle Win Another Close One
As an expansion team, the Orlando Miracle are already used to getting into close games, and with the past few results, they couldn't be happier. This time the victory came against the Phoenix Mercury 80-76. Johnson Critical in Miracle Win

Johnson Keeps Miracle Close in Loss
The Orlando Miracle again put up a battle, but this time they ended up losing 79-74 against the Detroit Shock. Orlando was paced by Johnson's 22 points. In addition to her 22 points, Shannon was 3-4 from 3, had 5 rebounds, 1 steal, and 1 block in the win. Surprisingly she didn't have any assists in what for Johnson, is probably a first.

McWilliams Wins it for Miracle
Against Lisa Leslie and the Los Angeles Sparks, the expansion Miracle defeated LA thanks in large part to Nykesha Sales and Taj McWilliams who scored the winning basket. The final score was 88-86. Shannon had 4 points, 4 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals, and only one turnover in the game.

Johnson, Miracle, Struggle in Loss
Against the rejuvanated Utah Starzz, Shannon Johnson put up pretty good numbers, but didn't dominate the game as she usually does. Only 3-10 from the field, Johnson still ended with 9 points and managed to have a well-rounded game. She grabbed 7 rebounds, 7 assists, and 2 blocked shots in the loss, numbers most players would be proud of. With Johnson at the helm and newfound stars Taj McWilliams and Sheri Sam continuing to contribute, the Miracle could be no ordinary expansion team.

Johnson Stars in Miracle Pre-Season Debut
In her first game as a member of the Orlando Miracle, Shannon Johnson stole the show, knocking down 19 points and dishing out 8 assists in the Miracle's 80-76 win over expansion team rival Minnesota Lynx. Starting at the point for Orlando, Johnson played 37 minutes in her convincing debut and had no turnovers against the Minnesota defense. Johnson also added 3 rebounds and a steal in the game.
