Not much can be said about this, except maybe that it was a
touch one-sided. Cincinnati took out the frustration of last week's loss
in a big way on the undermanned Betty White squad. It's obvious the team
is missing RB Michael Bush, when Ben Olsen leads the team with 10 points.
Cincy, however, had 4 players in double figures, with QB Rudy Carpenter almost
outscorig the Hat Brigade by himself, with 30. Cincy moves it's
alltime record vs Betty White to 2-1.

Sept 9 - Burlington
49 (3-1-0)
The defending champs win a
squeaker in a rematch of last year's title game. Burlington made what
could have been one of the all time bonehead decisions in not starting RB Ian
Johnson, who lit up the practice squad with 46 (and would've managed a tie all
by himself). The Beerguzzlers did manage 16 from WR Mario Urethra (or
however it's spelled) while a week after having a stellar game, Sam Adams QB
Troy Smith came a bit back down to earth, leading his team with 13. The
loss really shouldn't come as a surprise in what is the most one-sided affair in
the history of the league, as now Burlington owns a 9-1 series advantage over
the Drunks.

Sept 9 - The Clermont Lounge and Motor Hotel
90 (1-3-0)
The Regulars celebrated the unveiling of a new helmet (even
though they had the design for a year now) with a 7 point win over Palmetto
State. The Goggles continue their early season free fall in spite of a
great team effort, led by RB Curtis Brown's 20 and QB Jeff Ballard's
17. Clermont was just too strong however, with QB Kevin Kolb recapturing a
bit of why he was the 2nd overall pick in 2004 in leading the team with
19. Clermont now owns a 4-2 record over the Goggles, and PSU is 0-2 for
the second straight year and 3rd time in 5 years.

Sept 9 - College
76 (2-2-0)
Ever since defeating College for the 2002 National
Championship, MDU has done nothing but put up poor showings against the Students
(80-39, 63-7, 59-17), as the team barely showed in College's 4th straight win
over the Bills. The lone exception for MDU was RB Kory Sheets,
who led all scorers with 26. 2nd overall pick Tyrell Sutton continued to
struggle with a 9 point game to follow last week's 8 points. College had a
steady, if not spectacular, game from all of it's starters, with Fr WR Percy
Harvin leading the way with 15. The win gives College a 6-4 edge in the series

Sept 9 - Cronko
59 (2-1-1)
The surprising Slugs continue their hot start with a 4
point victory over the Bail Bondsmen. Usually when a kicker is a team's
leading scorer, as Slacker K Art Carmody was with 17, it's not a good thing, but
QB Chase Daniel also chipped in 17 as the rest of the team contributed just
enough. Cronko was led by QB Drew Stanton in a spectactular game with 29,
and the Auburn defense dropped in 17, but 8 points total from the RB/WR
positions sealed the team's fate. Slacker moves to 2-0 for the first time
since 2001 and evens the alltime series with Cronko at 1-1.

Morristown is another team on a hot start, going 2-0 for
the first time in school history, sending Headbanger to it's 2nd
ever 0-2 start, the other being in 2001. The Falcons got 27
points from QB Chris Leak, and 22 from RB Brandon Ore. Headbanger was led
by it's RB's with Mike Hart and PJ Hill scoring 22 apiece, but 3 points from the
WRs hurt their chances. The loss drops Headbanger's record against
Morristown to 3-2.

PDR QB Brady Quinn led his new team to a win vs his old team in this week's
Game of the Week. PDR profited off of transferred players, as WR DeSean
Jackson led the team with 22 to go along with Quinn's 17. Duff Beer had a
great game from for back QB Tyler Palko, who led all scorers with 25, and the RB
combo od Brown and Wright scored 28. but it wasn't enough as PDR moved to 2-0
for the first time ever and DBU fell to 0-2 for the first time since 2000.
PDR now owns a commanding 5-1 series advantage over the Donuts.

In what can only be described as an ugly game with flashes
of brilliance, South Central defeated Bite Me to even the series at 3
games apiece. The QB's in this game were horrible, with Wanker QB Chad
Henne getting the only scoring with 2, but the RB's showed their strength for
the Raiders with "Reggie don't call me" Darren McFadden leading all scorers with
25 and #1 pick Steve Slaton chipping in 16. Bite Me was led as usual by RB
Adrian Peterson, who scored 18, with K Justin Medlock making the game
interesting late by scoring 17.
