Rich, Eric and Doug gathered to play the classic Central I course. After undistinguished drives on hole one, only Doug made his log putt. Both Doug and Rich hit for deuces on hole two.Rich survived the water hole with a well-played deuce, while Eric and Doug went fishing for plastic (Doug - 6, Eric - 55). Eric made up some of the gap with a deuce on hole five. Eric and Rich matched deuces on hole eight to stay close. After nine, Rich led with 25. Eric was two stroke back and Doug three.
At the long hole ten Doug and Rich both suffered an O.B. on the path and claimed 5's, while Eric was making a safe par. Doug struggled to another 5 on hole eleven, while Rich faired only slightly better with a 4 and Eric picked up more strokes with a par. At hole eleven Doug's drive didn't clear the parking lot (for an O.B.) and his next shot skipped into the curb and stayed in the parking lot again (another O.B.). Another 5 for Doug. Setting what is believed to be a record, Doug took another 5 stroke to complete hole 13, for his fourth consecutive 5. Rich managed to par the rest of the round to escape further problems. Doug and Eric had mostly pars. Totals at the end found Rich with 25-30 for 55. Eric was 27-30 for a 57 and Doug skyed to a 28-36 for a 64.
