Doug and Rich met at busy Rengstorf Park to reprise their previous week's match up. Rich's drive at hole one left him with little chance for a par. Doug increased his lead at hole two with a masterful shot down the ramp to within feet of the hole for the first deuce of the day. Another deuce for Doug at hole four increased his lead. There was a deuce frame for both players at hole seven. Rich also had a deuce on hole six and Doug had one on the ninth hole. Doug makes the turn with a four stroke lead on Rich's home course!

Not much eventful happened on the back nine as many pars were recorded. Doug managed one more deuce at hole eleven and balanced it with a bogey at sixteen. Rich managed two deuces at holes thirteen and fifteen, but a bogey at seventeen left him eroding Doug's lead by only a stroke. Doug finished at 51 and Rich at 54.

Congratulations to Doug, whose 51 was the best of the week.
