Eric, Doug and Chris arrived at Cuesta II on a typical sunny, Saturday morning. Eric was the only player to par the first hole, but on hole two he was the only player not to. All even. No deuces were scored on the front nine, as minimizing bogeys, turned out to be the best strategy. After nine holes, Doug had held his to two bogeys for 29, Eric three for 30 and Chris 5 for 33 (one double-B).

The back nine was equally tough on players. Doug bogeyed hole twelve. Eric claimed the first deuce of the day at lucky hole thirteen, to take the lead. Another bogey by Doug at hole fifteen handed a two stroke lead to Eric. Then Doug started a comeback with his first deuce of the day at hole sixteen. At the often decisive hole over the parking lot,, every one went O.B. Eric managed two O.B. throws for a 6. Eric finished hole eighteen with one more bogey.

Final scores were pretty symmetrical. Doug had 29-29 for a 58, Eric had 30-30 for a 60 and Chris had 32-33 for a 65.
