This report was file by correspondent John Davis. Thanks, John. Eric and Jeff joined with John for a round of short tees and then long tees.
We played the short tee's first, then the long. Although I suppose you could have guessed that from the scores. Actually, Eric started the day by throwing from the long tee on the first hole (course hole 17) and his disk landed behind the big clump of trees in the middle. We then decided to use the short tees for the first 9. Eric then proceeded to deuce the first hole with his new tee shot. Ah, but poetic justice would strike when we returned that hole. Eric's tee shot landed almost exactly where his very first one had and he proceeded to get a 5. Still he hung on to win. I had several chances, but my putting stroke (which is always weak) deserted me. Jeff was leading after hole 10, but the next hole did him in. After Hole 10, there were no deuces, and only 11-pars amoung the three of us. The hilight of the round was the 6th hole played which we all deuced.
At the end of the day it was Eric with a 25-32 for a 57. John had 27-32 for a 59 and Jeff had a 27-35 for a 62.
