Maywood II found Rich, Doug and Jim ready to play. After none to sterling drives on hole one, Jim managed to collect the only par. Jim and Rich both claimed deuces at hole four. DOug managed to go in the street for an OB on hole five. Rich scored another deuce on hole six. All players deuces hole eight. Rich held the lead after nine holes with 25, with Jim one back at 26. Doug struggled to a 29.
Doug had another OB at hole eleven as his disc didn't clear the curb and stayed in the street, while Jim was stroking a deuce at the same hole. Jim had his one bad hole of the day as his approach shot went down the creek bank, leaving him with a 6. on the next hole Jim sailed one onto the roof for an OB. With some help to a roof climbing session, Jim did recover this disc. Jim and Rich scored long deuces on eighteen to finish the round. Rich claimed low score for the day with a 25-28 for a 53. The one bad hole left Jim at 26-29 for a 55, whle Doug's score card showed 29-28 for a 57.
