Eric joined Doug for a quick round at Serra Park. Eric started with a deuce at hole one. Doug and Eric both had deuces on holes three and six. Eric went OB in the water of hole eight, but still managed a par, connecting with a great approach shot. A finishing deuce on hole nine gave Eric a 23 for the front nine, while Doug was three strokes back at 26.
Eric played consistently on the back nine, starting and finishing with a deuce and sandwiching seven pars in between. Doug claimed one deuce to offset his two bogeys on the back nine. For the day, Eric blazed to a 23-25 for a splendid 48. Doug finished at even par 54.
