Hello people...I'm really depressed as I write this today. As I'm sure many of you have heard, it seems that The Excellence of Execution may be leaving the WWF and making his way to Turner Town. To me, Bret Hart is the WWF, when I first saw this, I just dismissed it as a cheap rumour, but I keep seeing confirmation upon confirmation of his departure. I want to say that I believe that he will still remain with Vince and Team Titan, but I can't...I pretty much believe that he has been signed, and delivered to the fans of WCW. Y'know, it really makes me...I don't know, I just felt HARTbroken when I read the news today. I know that many other wrestlers have bailed for the money in WCW, but I really thought that Bret was different, I really thought that I could count on his loyalty to the WWF. Now, I'm in no way a fan of WCW, and with Bret leaving the WWF, I'm not about to start watching and liking WCW, I just don't know, maybe it's time I took a small break from all the bullshit happening in the wrestling business.

Y'know, it's kinda funny, I remember Bret once saying that he would STICK with the company that MADE him. I remeber after Hall and Nash left, Bret went on to say that Nash and Hall "...may be laughing themselves to the bank, but they'll be crying themselves to sleep...", well, Bret, will you be the one doing the crying now??? The roster in the WCW is so damn deep, that Bret is gonna probably get lost in the shuffle, he'll be getting punked by the NWO every damn week. Basically, when he leaves the WWF belt, he will NEVER hold another belt again. First in line in WCW is probably Sting, then Nash, then Flair(if he's still around)...and you can't tell me guys like The Giant and Luger and Hall won't wanna hold a belt eventually. What about the whole Hart Foundation??? What about Owen Hart??? Just when Bret finally gets a chance to work with his little brother, he turns his back on him AND ALL HIS CANADIAN FANS!!!! Canadian Patriotism my ass Bret, YOU GODDAM ASSHOLE!!!!! Don't fool yourselves if your a Canadian, specifically a Calgarian. Bret's days in Canada are pretty much finished. WCW NEVER comes into Canada, and they sure as hell won't be going to Calgary. The WWF is truly INTERNATIONAL, WCW is strictly American. In case you can't tell, I'm extremely pissed off at the whole deal.

Now, I realise that Bret was unhappy with the direction the WWF was heading, with Degeneration X and the whole race angle thing. Well, Hitman, if a guy like Shawn Michaels can chase you away like a coward, then I shudder to think where you go after Hall and Nash get done with you. You think that they'll go easy on you???? Hell no, remember, they are friends with Shawn Michaels...meaning, an enemy of his is an enemy of theirs. Are you gonna keep running away till you can find somewhere where to can be a hero??? WELL BRET, YOU WERE A GODDAM HERO IN CANADA, now your just as bad as all the other sellouts that you criticised. Bret, I am ashamed to admit that I was ONCE a fan of yours...perhaps it is time that HBK is once again inducted into my Top Ten. I know that Shawn is a very moody wrestler, BUT at least he remains loyal, he will at least wait till his contract expires before he leaves. Bret on the otherhand still had 19 years left on his contract, but he was lucky enough to have an out-clause, which he has taken.

You Bret are no Canadian, you say we keep are words, well, you've embarassed the whole nation. I'm still holding out hope though, I still believe that there is a possibility that Bret may be staying with the WWF, but that is probably just foolishness. I don't know about the rest of the wrestling world, but I am tired of this whole wrestling business bullshit. I'm not all that sure whether I even want to continue watching wrestling anymore, let alone my site. As far as being a Bret Hart fan, I'll use the words that Bret once used "I QUIT!!!!"

Additional Commentary by Peter Medina

I really don't know where to start. Pillman's death last month was enough of a shock, now I gotta put up with basically the death of the WWF and Bret Hart now. I just heard the news about Bret Hart. V1 told me and I thought it was just all bullshit, but it's the real scoop. It's so mind boggling with this bulls**t Bret Hart has just pulled here. In my mind he's turned in my eyes from being the awesome Bret "Hitman" Hart to the goddamn traitor Bret "Shitman" Hart. I'm Canadian, and I was proud to see Bret battle and make his stand against America, now it seems like he wants to be an all American by joining Bitchoff and his crew. You know Bret, if you ever read this I hope you can sense the disgust I put in this view.

Every single thing he's done since I started watching wrestling again (the time where he came back from retirement), the Anti-American Campaign, his family re-uniting to form the solid crew called "The Hart Foundation", his gain of the 5 time World Champion, has amounted to what?!?! I have one answer... JACK SHIT! What was the whole point of this anyways then? Bret, you make talk about family values... what kind of family value is turning your back on your brother Owen, your brothers in law Jim and David, and most of all your fan base here in Canada which is like your family too. Goddamnit Bret, just when I started liking wrestling again, YOU of all people have just made me almost lose interest now. In no way am I gonna watch that recycled, old-timer, "Smells Like WWF" crap (I'm making reference to WCW here) just to see you wrestle. I'd rather pick lice out of some kids hair than watch that crap. Well now that I can say farewell to ya, I've just freed up 2 hours (sometimes 1) of my time that I usually spend watching wrestling to actually do something else.

You know, you wanted to take a stand in the WWF and show those Yankees what right from wrong is. I can't say goddamnit enough, that it just pisses me off that I looked up to you and was proud of everything you've done in the WWF and now it's amounted to just throwing it all away and joining Club Dub. What kind of fighter are you if you give up so easily to all those pukes you hate? What kind of role model are you to your younger fans who see their fav. wrestler just walk away and disappear and then see you later on WCW screwin' around on Nitro? How does a young fan understand all the politics of wrestling? How do you explain to a 8 year old that you left just because of stuff you don't like? What kind of Canadian are you, or are you even Canadian now? Can you even now consider yourself a Calgarian?

I'm just overly disgusted, and sickened by your antics Bret. You and the rest of the Hart Foundation is the reason I watched wrestling... you are the Hart Foundation's leader and mentor... I can't stress enough, a leader who turns his back will one day regret doing it in the first place. That's enough of my disgust I've vented already on this morning of November 8/97, see you all later. (which I doubt I'll be back cause for me it's the death of my wrestling viewing habits today)

(Updated Nov. 13, 1997)

Well, it's V1 here again believe it or not...I know I said that I really wasn't sure if I wanted to update my page anymore after the whole Bret "faggot-assed" Hart thing. I was really contemplating just shutting this page down, but after thinking it over a bit, I decided I WAS a HUGE Bret Hart fan, but I'm a bigger fan of wrestling and the WWF. As far as I'm concerned, Bret Hart can go to hell. I guess maybe he got tired of being the oldest wrestler int he WWF and decided he wanted to feel young again in WCW. So, if Bret thinks that by leaving the WWF that I'll suddenly tune into WCW, well, he's dumber than I thought he was. I also read that after Survivor Series when Bret lost the WWF belt in a controversial way, Bret punched Vince McMahon TWICE...gee, real tough guy, beating on a 52 year old man who isn't even a wrestler. Look, you may be pissed that you lost the match, but what did you expect??? You know that you can't keep the damn belt when you leave for WCW, you damn turncoat. Consider yourself lucky that Vince dosen't make you lose a Diaper match to Bob Holly before you leave, you dogshit.

Hmmm, it's kinda stupid how Bret says that the reason he's leaving is because he dosen't like the way the WWF is going. First off, he states the race issue...buddy, I don't think anyone likes it anymore than you do...I know I don't think that race is an angle that should be played with, but I'm going to stick through with the WWF, this angle won't last forever like the NWO. I mean, Bret, you yourself haven't been all that kind to the American people in general, so I don't understand your problem. You also say that your tired of Shawn Michaels being an asshole, well, motherfugger I don't see how leaving Shawn and joining Kevin Nash and Scott Hall will help things for you. Do you really think that the other members of the Kliq will go easy on you??? If you really think that Bret, then your dumber than a brainless fungus, the Kliq now know that your a coward who can get RUN outta town and they will probably see if they can run you out.

It's really stupid when you think about it. Bret had a LOT of power in the WWF, he had a lot of say in the way some of the angles were heading, he had the power to squash certain angles that he didn't like, ie, The Marlena/Sable lesbian angle was put down by Bret. Ofcourse Bret couldn't decide all the angles, hell, Vinman still owns the damn company, but by going to WCW, Bret has pretty much given up all his power. There are too many people more important than Bret in WCW, The Wolfpack(Syxx, Nash, Hall) for instance have 2 very important guys and a tag along(you figure out which is which), that's thee guys to one Bret Hart, I wonder who Bitchoff will listen to??? Then you got Hogan, who no doubt has the biggest ego in the whole damn federation...well, maybe second to that wannabe maineventer Eric Bischoff. Hogan is gonna want a match with Hart, and he's gonna want to beat the tar outta Bret. After all, Hogan did say shortly before Wrestlemania IX that "Bret Hart can't lace up my wrestling boot.", now, obvioulsy, Hogan don't think too much of Bret, cause at Wrestlemania IX, Bret lost his WWF belt to Yokozuna and during the same night, Hogan beat Yoko for the belt. Essentially, I see Bret getting punked by the NWO week after week, he's is going to be so lost in the shuffle down in Atlanta. Let's face it, Bret wrestling ability has gone down hill the last couple of years and his interview has pretty much been a snooze the last couple of months.(but I'd still love to have him back in the WWF) So, even though you try to spew all this bullshit, it's obvious that the only reason your leaving is because of $$$$$$$$$, so don't try to bullshit it over, we all know your after the money.

Actually, although I was depressed and disappointed that Bret "shitface" Hart was leaving, I have to admit that it may not be such a bad thing after all. Vince has managed to dump a huge salary for the next 19 or so years, I mean, really, how many more years did Bret have in the ring??? 2 maybe 3 years until he starts pulling a Hogan. With this extra money that Vince has, he can go and spend some on getting WCW stars. Guys who are SO misused, like Hugh Morrus, Chris Benoit, The Giant, Dean Malenko, Harlem Heat. I just hope that Vince does not try to get that loser Lex Loser. There's also a possibility that Vince may nab Ric Flair, which would be one helluva blow for the WWF. Ric has lost much of his wrestling talent over the years, but he still has many fans and he still does one of the best interviews out there. I mean, let's face it, Bret's interviews are somewhat boring. There have also been some pretty stupid rumours going around about signing. One of them says that Hollywood Hogan and Kevin Nash are contemplating returning to the WWF. Now that is just stupid, I really don't see Hogan EVER returning to the WWF, and as far as Nash goes...I've said it once before and I'll say it again: MONEY TALKS PEOPLE!!! Only believe that Nash is back in the WWF when you see Nash in a WWF ring, wrestling a WWF wrestler. As far as I'm concerned, Bret leaving may actually be a blessing in disguise for the WWF.

Now, enough about that loser Bret HArt, he ain't nothin now. I wanna mention something else that's actually MATTERS to the WWF. The angle that seems to get the most attention now is defenitely Degeneration X, I personally don't think that they are a very strong stable as of right now. They basically have one good wrestler in Shawn Michaels, then it goes downhill from there. HHH is a bum who would be nothing without the other DX members, Chyna may be big, but there's no women's division(Thank God), so she really can't win any belts. Rick Rude has a bad back and he probably won't wrestler for a hell of a long time, if ever again. That basically leaves just HBK to carry the whole load...kinda sucks there. I think that Vince should just add some non-original-kliq members...like say "Too Sexy" Brian Christopher. He would be a perfect addition, first off, he's already got the right attitude and personality for DX, and he's an awesome wrestler, he's proven that he can go with the Heavyweights as well as Lightweights. Shawn and Too Sexy could form one of the best heel tag teams in the history of the WWF. While we're at it, they could also throw in Road Dawg and Bad Ass Billy Gunn, just to be the two jobbers of the DX, I mean, they gotta lose sometimes. I've always seen Road Dawg and Billy Gunn as a little more then lower card to mid card, and they still kinda suck, but since it's obvious that there getting one monster push, let them join DX. If DX had HBK, HHH, Too Sexy and Road Dawg and Billy Gunn, they could become a premier force in the WWF, but right now, they kinda suck. There basically a tag team with two ring attendants.

Well, I always said that The Patriot sucked, and now that this Canada Vs. USA thing is done(Thanks to that faggot named Bret Hart). I know that Del Wilkes has a torn Tricep or something like that, but don't tell me the guy can't just show up on RIW. It's obvious, the guy has no role anymore in the WWF at the moment. I thought he was a watse of money when he first came in, and now it's more obvious then ever that he is nothing. He has got no one to aim his Patriotism at, he could aim it at what's left of the Hart Foundation, but who really thinks that there's anything left in there???? Neidhart sucks, Bulldog hasn't been doing so great lately, Owen is basically a jobber with potential. What the Foundation needs is new members...like Yokozuna, where the hell is he??? Yoko could add some much needed beef in the Foundation. Owen also needs to step up to the plate now. With Bret gone, it's Owen time to hog some of the lime light, he no longer has Bret shadow hanging over him, if he can't make it big without Bret, then maybe he isn't Championship material. Doug Funas and Phil Lafon may be in the Foundation, it's unclear right now, but they may not be such a bad addition. They aren't my favorite people in the fed obviously, but they could have some potential, given the proper angle and mic work. Also this new guy, Steve Blackman, he used to be a wrestler for Calgary Stampede. I remember seeing him there when he feuded with another wrestler named Steve Disalvo, then he taged up with him. I don't understand what he's doing going against The Hart Foundation. I remember that he was pretty impressive in Stampede, he was a very strong guy back then, don't know what he's like now though.

Well, that's it for now, y'know, once I get right down to writing, I kinda forgit about that whole lameassed, sonofabitch, cocksucker, nosepicking, shiteating, animal molesting, child beating, car stealing, old man beating, money grubbing, face peeling, hair receding, over the hilling, scum collecting, ice cap melting, ozone layer depleting, hair spraying, raising a geeky looking kid, same five moving, Bret "Shitman" Hart...gee, I'm not pissed. Check back later in the month, ya never know, I might update.

(Updated Nov.20, 1997)

Well...what can I say....other than whatta FUG?????? First Bret Hart bailed on the WWF and now Rick Rude leaves??? Now, out of the two wrestlers, Bret will ofcourse have the most impact...hell, Rick Rude can't wrestle anymore anyways, so he is basically just a cheering squad. I'm really very surprised that he's back with WCW though. Rick Rude got canned by WCW after he injured his back and became more or less useless in the ring. So Rude had started a lawsuit with WCW, but obviously they settled their differences(meaning Rude was bought). This is kinda stupid actually. Eric Bitchoff fired the guy when he injures his back, but now that Vince has found a role for Rude, Eric decides that it's a good idea and rips it off. Just goes to show ya how original Eric Bitchoff can be. Just when I get over Bret Hart's departure, then the WWF loses another guy. Although, technically, Rude was never signed by the WWF, he was on loan from the ECW(from what i understand).

I don't know what it is with wrestlers and their wives. It always seems that married couples always have to be put into an angle where it looks like it's a rocky marriage. We saw it with Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth, we saw it with Kevin Sullivan and Woman, we saw it with DDP and Kimberly, Steve "Crappy" McMichaels and Debra and now we're seeing it with Marlena/Goldust and Marc Mero/Sable. I personally do not like these angles, why the hell does the promoter always think it's a good angle to break a couple up???? Are they just jealous that these wrestlers have these hot wives or something???? I personally don't like them very much, and it's not just the WCW or WWF guilty of these lame angles, both feds have always done this. I really don't like the Sable and abusive Marc Mero one in particular...for obvious reasons. I'm no feminist, but I also don't like seeing anyone trying to shut someone else up. The fact of the matter is, Marc Mero will never be as popular as Sable...unless womenviewers started to outnumber men viewers, which is not gonna happen. On a recent RIW, they showed Sable with a black eye, being dragged around by Marc Mero. Now, I know that Marc would not hit his wife, and she really was in a horse accident, but c'mon, the way they played it. They made it look like wife abuse , with a version of the old excuse "I fell down the stairs". I'm sure they could have either covered it up with makeup or just told her to take the night off, but instead they hauled her out to show the world just how pissed off Mero is that his wife gets more attention.

Now, I know that the WWF is trying to adopt a more reality based show, claiming that it's what the fans want. Well's, that's a bit of reality that I don't think has any reason to be put on a wrestling show. This whole reality based this just dosen't hit it off with me. The whole race thing and wife beating thing. I mean, if I wanted reality, I'd watch the news, I watch wrestling cause it's just entertainment, NOT a social or political comment. Where are the old angles??? the ones where a tag member double crosses his partner??? an angle where an ex-manager tries to get revenge on the guys who ditched him???? I long for those angles to return.

Lemme take some time now to gloat a bit. I ALWAYS KNEW THAT ROCKY DIDN'T SUCK...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!! That was to all you "smart" fans out there who always took the time to write stuff like "Rocky sucks, cause he sucks." or stuff like "I'll only cheer Rocky when he leaves the fed.", while really, the only reason they wrote that was because everyone else was doing it. They followed the crowd, just like a buncha bandwagon jumping lemmings. Now, these same guys are writing "Oh, man, he's hilarious, I loved his expressions, and that DDT and cross body block of his is awesome. I always knew he would one day be good" ...now your jumping on the pro-Rocky bandwagon, ya damn lemming. I on the other hand stated right off the bat that I didn't think that Rocky sucked and that I thought he would be the one to guide the WWF into the next millenium. Now maybe he won't be the one guiding the WWF, but I always knew he didn't suck. I never jumped on the bandwagon so that I could say to people "Yeah, I'm a smart, Rocky sucks, I agree with everything they say, cause smarts all think alike" That is something that I have noticed...SMARTS ALL THINK ALIKE. They read one newsletter fulla some guys views, then they go "Hey, yeah, he's right, now I'm a wrestling smart cause I agree with what he says", then a couple of weeks later, when the newsletter writer changes his mind the "smart" guy goes "Hey, yeah, I agree with him, I changed my mind also, cause I'm a smart fan, I have to agree with what all the other fans say or I'll be some dumb mark." Well, I for one do not give a rat's ass about this smart/mark bullshit. I said that Rocky didn't suck when all the "smarts" were cutiing him, but now all the smarts in the internet are following MY VIEWS ON ROCKY!!!!! GET THAT SMARTS....I'M THE SMARTEST SMART OUTTA ALL YOU SMARTS, CAUSE ALL THE SMARTS ARE FOLLING THIS SMART MARK'S VIEWS....so, what do all the rest of you smarts and marks out there think of this smart/mark bullshit???? Write to me any opinions you got at
[email protected] and if there's anything I think is memorable, I'll put it up here in the views some time.

Well, that's it for this update..not much important stuff I guess...oh well.

WAAAAIIIITTTTT!!!!!!!!, before I go, I just want to show that I haven't forgotten about Brian Pillman yet, so here's a little messeage that Mrs. Melanie Pillman(Brian's wife for those lameasses who don't already know.)left on AOL:

I would like to take the time to clear up some misconceptions about my husband and his death. Certainly Brian wouldn't want any misunderstandings by anyone on AOL :).

It has been a month since he died and I am finally able to do this. First and foremost, the Medical Examiners office called today to let me know all the toxicology reports are complete. Brian died of a congenital heart disease which led to a heart attack, exactly as his father did when Brian was only 3 mos. old. There were no recreational drugs found in his system, nor any alcohol.
According to the position and manner that he was found, they have concluded that he died with no pain and in his sleep(thank God). Brian and I had been arguing lately, but we were living together and everything was fine between us at the time of his death. We argued about the fact that he relied too much on painkillers to wrestle-I wanted him out of the business, but he thought he could handle things.
Again, the medicine did not cause his death. The reason I came across as strange on TV was that I was in shock. My friends brushed my hair and helped me dress, I had been up since I was told he had died. Vince never said I had to do this, and maybe it was ratings driven, but I wanted to help the company that had taken care of my husband throughout his rehab of his ankle.

It did not upset me to be asked as I know that Brian would have wanted it, and it helped to keep busy, although the week of his death is a complete blur to me now. The girl who killed herself 2 years ago was Brian's ex-girlfriend, never his wife. They never did get along well, and I had pretty much raised their child as she was neglectful of her. Her death was painful for us, however, it had nothing to do at all with Brian's death. Brian was cremated and sits in a wooden urn on my office desk. Steve Austin picked it out and paid for it as I was too distraught.

He always wanted his ashes spread over the Grand Canyon (where he proposed to me) and as soon as I can get out there I will. He left a little life insurance, but not much. He had recently tried to obtain more coverage, but was turned down because of his medical problems.

The kids are doing OK, but they miss their father alot, and I miss him more than words can say. DDP has helped in conjunction with WWF to set up a memorial fund for the kids education. The money sent will be used for the children exclusively. It would be tacky to post the address here, but the fund is set up through Star Bank, Florence Kentucky. You should be able to get the address from DDP's various sites. I did not come on here for that though, only to set the record straight. He would want everyone to know the truth, he was never one to mince words :) So there it is, not very scandal laden, just sad. We do have a babyon the way. I want to thank everyone for all their support, and to the ones who wrote nasty things about my wonderful husband @#$%& YOU!!!!!!!!

OOps, guess that was the spirit of the loose cannon coming through me :)

Love you all Melanie

V1 here again, Ahhh Brian, you left when you were too damn young. Later folks.

Additional Commentary by Peter Medina

Well hello again V1 Views Readers! Well I'm back again, well like I said in my last view "the death of my wrestling viewing habits" actually did not happen. Surprisingly enough, I watched a total of 4 hours of Raw my bud taped which I did not see until today, so if you think what follows in my view here is a little old well tough.

Kay, where should I start off? Hmmm, let's see... well let's start with the Mark Mero angle. I think all in all this new boxing thing totally sucks and Mero needs a shrink. Fug, I was watching RAW and I saw the part where he kept on harassing ButterBean... Butterbean sounds like Michael Jackson trapped in a fat guys body, but hey he's a "Tough Guy Champion". I unfortuately have seen a "Tough Guy Competition" on videotape and what I thought was supposed to be street fighting (cause the cover hyped it up to be a gang war with chains) turned out to be nothing but boxing. Anyways back to my view... uhm I say look for this tension between the 2 to become a card at IYH:DX with Butterbean winning and Sable to be at Butterbean's side. I saw the look of disgust on Sable's face with Mero and I sense a manager/athlete breakup happening.

Turns out we ran out of space on this damned thing so you gotta click here to read the rest of my view!
