Hook & Ladder Co. #3
Our firehouse is located at the intersection of Main and Maple on 557 Main Street in Fort Lee, New Jersey. The left engine bay holds our pumper, called FL 3. The center bay holds our primary ladder truck, called FL Truck 1. The right bay holds our tower ladder truck, called FL Truck 2. The backyard of this house was the location of the "Mike & Christy Pre-Wedding Barbecue Rehearsal Extravaganza" on July 4, 1997.

Frank Orsino Barroom
Here is our newly renovated Frank Orsino room.

Co. #3 Patch
This is our Company #3 patch. We wear this patch sometimes on our gear and uniforms. I placed this patch at the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial on August 3, 1998 to show our support for those who died and their families.

Department Patch
This is the departmental patch, used by all four companies in the department. In 1999, the department will be switching over to a new patch.

LTI 102' Tower Ladder
Here is truck 2 in all its glory.

Fl-3 Foam Pumper
Here is our foam pumper, FL-3, inside the engine room.

The Big Board
Also in the engine room is our board listing the members and officers, and a board listing the location of the fire in case you miss the truck.

Uniform Uniform
Here I am wearing our official uniform. We wear our uniform to funerals, wakes, viewings, and annually to the Department Memorial Service, Inspection, and Fund Drive. For the Inspection, we must wear the "Full Dress Uniform", which includes the hat, jacket, and all badges and other insignias.

6 Torch Passing Pattern
This is a picture of me and my friend Jay juggling flaming torches in the backyard of the firehouse on July 4, 1997. There was a brush fire that day on Route 46 East, which was unrelated to the above activity.

Gear Locker
These are our gear lockers. We leave our gear at the firehouse, so it will always be in the same place when we need it, right next to the fire truck. Thanks to Chief Robert Andrews for ordering this gear for me. My old coat had holes in it, which is not good when you are on the roof of a working fire. My gear consists of the following: turnout coat, bunker pants, helmet, flashlight, wood chock, Nomex hood, SCBA mask, gloves, PASS alarm, accountability tags. I must bring all of these to every fire.

Exxon Car Fire
Above is FL-3 and the crew of our company extinguishing a car fire on Route 46. This fire was called in at 5:47 and fully extinguished and under control at 5:53. Car fires are fairly common in Fort Lee, as the George Washington Bridge brings more vehicles through Fort Lee than any other city in the world.
