Ervin Johnson is one of the best players to come out of UNO.

He is with the Milwalkee Bucks now.

Here is Ervin on the night UNO retired his #40.
Tim Floyd brought Iowa State to town and talked at halftime.

I went to this game, it was a classic! Even better than the UNO/USL buzzer-beaters :)

Hector Romero! Heck-yeah! After his junior season, Romero was named honorable mention All-American. I can't wait for his senior year!

UNO head coach Monte Towe! He had a much better first season than most people expected. Some experts thought UNO would be lucky to win 5 games in his first year, with the major rebuilding job he faced. Instead, he led UNO to a winning season including buzzer-beating victories over LSU and ULL! Monte had a better first season than anybody expected!

UNO's previous basketball coach, Joey Steibing

UNO's former coach was Tic Price...he came aboard with Tommy Joe Eagles when Tim Floyd left.
But when Eagles died before coaching a game, he became the new head coach and did a great job! Got McNeese State into the NCAA tourney last year, his first at that school. They were also the only Louisiana team to make the field of 65.
