Next stop after the Mckees was the Te Akau Racing Stables, run by Mark Walker and his staff, in partnership with Gai Waterhouse.
The stable was very nice, and very full of horses.
The thing I found is that Mark Walker is very enthusiastic about racing, especially bringing new people into it.
I guess time will time whether or not he makes it as a top line trainer, but he is a good ambassador for racing already.
On to the pictures.......
Heres the horse that "will win its debut by 10 lengths!!", Bonnie Blender:
**UPDATE**, Bonnie Blender is still a maiden after 3 starts:-(

Te Akau George (above) is said to be, by one of the stable staff, probably the most talented horse in the stable.
However, his racing has been limited due to injury.
And of course, a horse who I don't know who the hell is!!
