DuPage Ducks is a masters swim team base in DuPage county. During the short course season (October - May) the team practices three days a week. During the summer months (long course season--June-August), the team typically swims on Saturdays at Lemont Park District.

Formed in 1991, the team is made up of 35 plus members ranging in age from 30-82 years old, with a wide variety of skill levels and personalities. Our team includes recreational swimmers who want to stay healthy, triathletes trying to improve their stroke and competitive swimmers.

For the past several years, the Ducks have place in the top five at the Central Masters Short Course Championship Swim Meet, held in mid-April. Several of our swimmers have also participated in the USMS Nationals Short and Long Course swim meets.

For information on joining the DuPage Ducks Master Swim Team please contact Jeff Putnam at 630-968-8400, ext. 217. For insurance coverage, you must also join the Central Masters Swimming Association (which is affiliated with the U.S. Masters Swimming) and be between the ages of 19-99. Your membership to CMSA includes a yearly subscription to Swim Magazine. For a membership application contact Pat Sengstock at 630-653-7079.

If you want to check us out first, you are more than welcome to join us for a workout or two. Saturdays are usually the best time, since the team goes out for breakfast following the morning workout.
