CTS IV Version 1.6
A new version of the Commitment Tracking System, CTS IV version 1.6, has been installed on all EM HQ workstations. This version reflects the new EM organizational structure. EM's reorganization became official in November 1999; however, updating the EM databases required waiting until the MA database, DOEInfo, was updated (DOEInfo is used with some EM systems). Processing of the reorgaization personnel actions, the update of DOEInfo, was completed on December 24, 1999.
The CTS IV application was updated in accordance with the new Organization structure. This involved reformating some windows and reports and updating the CTS person and access records to reflect the new EM organizations.
New Commitment Number Format
Commitment Numbers Include Full Four Digit Year
The commitment numbers of all commitments in the CTS database have been adjusted to contain a 4-digit year. For example, EM94-02311 is now EM1994-02311.
Use 4-Digit Year When Searching for Commitments by Number
Since the commitment number includes the 4-digit year, remember to include the full 4-digit year when searching for a specific commitment. For example, in the search below you must enter the commitment number EM1999-04014 to find the commitment.

Executive Secretary (ES) Action Searchs
Searching Using Is Null and Is Not Null
The Is Null and Is Not Null operators are helpful in searching for all of the open ES Actions. Let us say we are looking for open ES action commitments. That request translates into the following two criteria: Executive Secretary Number Is Not Null and Commitment Closed Date Is Null as presented in the example below.

Searching for Year 2000 ES Actions
The format of the ES Action number has not changed so it is still in the format of ESYY-###### (where YY is the last two digits of the year and the ####### is the 6 digit sequence number). Therefore, if you need to find all of the open ES actions for year 2000 the example below will do the trick.
