17-Feb-00 - Aces conditioning suspect as they fold tent in 5-4 overtime loss to Toyota East. Aces' overtime record now at a pathetic 0-4-0.

10-Feb-00 - Aces back on winning track with 3-2 win over league leaders Penny On The Park Rangers

03-Feb-00 - The biggest embarrassment in the history of the Aces. Lose to Covers.com 5-4.

01-Feb-00 - Aces drew the ire of the Dartmouth Alpines and pay with an 11-2 loss.

25-Jan-00 - Deja vu all over again as Aces blow 4 goal lead and lose to the Neighbours Chief's on an overtime goal by "Party" Wright.

20-Jan-00 - Aces capitalize on late giveaway and Joseph Briand buries game winner with 40 seconds remaining and beat Your Father's Moustache 7-5

17-Jan-00 - Aces welcome the two newest Aces to the fold. Jessica Anne Landry (Blair and Deanna), 8lb 2oz, Lauren Rose Gray (Pat and Lisa) 9lbs, 6oz.

17-Jan-00 - Bernie makes deal at the trading deadline for the newly acquired Russians. The Canadian Navy will continue to provide coastal defence in return for the rights to Coco, Claude and Marc.

16-Jan-00 - In the tournament final Aces fight back from a 3-0 deficit with 3 unanswered goals in the final 8 minutes to force overtime against Valley Tire of Bridgewater. Things looked rosy for the Aces when, with 2:15 remaining in the first overtime, Valley Tire's defenseman took Chris Welsh hard into the boards for a charging penalty. Aces unable to capitalize on the powerplay. Aces choose Ray Cummings, Blake Miller, Dave Meagher and Steven Lawlor as representatives for 3 minutes of sudden death 4-on-4 play. Aces fail to score but keep the opposition from scoring. Aces choose Troy Bennett, Chris Meagher and Mark Gray for 3 minutes of sudden death 3-on-3 play. Valley Tire wins opening draw and a nice pass creates a 2 on 1 where the puck carrier managed to get off a hard shot off both posts and in the net for a goal despite a lunging effort from Troy Bennett. Aces lose 4-3 (3OT) in final.

16-Jan-00 - Aces pumped for semi-final action against the formidable Cape Sable Fish Packers. In a see-saw battle Aces hold off a strong offense for the final 7 minutes and manage a 4-3 victory.

16-Jan-00 - Aces go into final game needing only to stay within 6 goals of Truro Engine room to make the crossovers. Truro was either a-sceeered of the Aces or too hungover to play. Aces win by default 5-0 to make the Bridgewater tournament playoffs for the first time in 5 years.

15-Jan-00 - Aces trounce a drunken Yarmouth squad 10-3 to even their tournament record to 1 win, 1 loss.

15-Jan-00 - Aces lose Bridgewater Lohnes Lumbermen Tournament opener 5-2 to Valley Tire of Bridgewater.

14-Jan-00 - Aces prepare for Lohnes Lumbermen Tournament with signing of the Russian Trio Coco, Claude and Marc.

02-Dec-99 - Mired in the second longest losing streak in Aces' history, Aces give up late 3 goal lead AGAIN en route to a 5-4 overtime loss to Neighbour's Pub.

25-Nov-99 - Aces continue poor play and give up late 3 goal lead en route to a disappointing 5-4 overtime loss to Toyota East.

18-Nov-99 - Aces taste defeat for the first time this season. A pathetic turnout of 8 skaters played tough, but were never close in 6-1 loss to Penny on the Park Rangers.

16-Nov-99 - Despite a valiant effort by league doormats Covers.com Gamblers, short-staffed Aces capitalize on 5 early goals and hang on for 5-3 victory.

11-Nov-99 - Aces play down to the level of Your Father's Moustache, but still manage a 3-2 victory.

02-Nov-99 - Aces capitalize on late 4-minute powerplay for a come from behind 6-3 victory over Neighbour's Chiefs. Gussie Meagher with 3 and Whitey Gray pads his top-scorer stats with 2 empty netters.

02-Nov-99 - League statistics published. Aces 1st place overall led by league top scorer Mark Gray and top goaltender Trevor Umlah. Aces also proud to occupy 3 of the top 4 spots in penalty minutes.

28-Oct-99 - Aces hold on and win 5-4 despite late surge from Rusty's Rebels (Toyota East).

14-Oct-99 - Al Hennigar stars as the Aces welcome the highly-touted Dartmouth Alpines to the league with a sound 7-0 thrashing.

12-Oct-99 - Aces biggest win ever. 15-0 whitewash of the hated Covers.com Gamblers.
