Opening Ceremonies Friday, June 5
Closing Ceremonies Sunday, June 14 depending on number of entries

Tournament play will be at the San Jose State University Aquatic Center, San Jose, California, USA

DIVISIONS

Elite Men; Elite Women, Open Masters (age 35), Women's Masters (age 32). Ages will be verified.

ENTRY FEES

$1000 USD/team; payment by international money order preferred or by federation check; make check to USOA; mail to USOA, PO Box 628, Daly City CA 94017 USA

San Jose State University Aquatic Center; 60 m x 25 yd pool outdoors; mens and womens locker/shower rooms; wide deck

PLAYING AREA SPECS
* two equal playing areas 21 m long by 14.6 m wide * gradual lateral sloped play depth: 6.5 to 8.5 ft (2.05 m to 2.59 m) across both playing and officials areas over 35 m. * 2 officials tables will be on scaffolding in pool center * walks will allow referees to move with play * each play area will have different electronic sounding

CLIMATE
Early summer San Jose will be warm daytime/cool evenings average temperatures: mid 80 to 90+ degrees F (22 to 32+ degrees C) hat/sun screen recommended for pool area; light jacket evenings/needed for coastal/beach areas over please.
ACCOMMODATIONS

DRESS
'California Casual' is our motto. Suggest polo shirts and slacks or shorts for opening ceremony only most expensive elite restaurants require jacket/tie final night dinner will also be casual dress.
MEETINGS
All will be held in WC HQ dormitory across from pool.
PUCK
Championship puck will be Australian 'Pink Puck' one puck/team is complimentary with each team entry fee Additional pucks order directly from: Mike Gillespie, 20 Gatineau Grove, Bibra Lake, Western Australia 6163 Australia. Cost: approximately $25/each Australian + shipping

San Francisco International - 60 miles from venue

San Jose International - 10 miles from venue easy freeway connections from both airport maps to follow *

PARTY
Saturday/Sunday evening, June 14/15; cost additional to entry fees - will be announced later
MEDICAL HISTORY
Each athlete/referee/participant must complete a confidential medical history to include current medical conditions, current drug therapy and all drug allergies. Forms will be sent in French, English or Spanish *
WAIVERS
Each athlete/referee/participant must sign an Assumption of Risk/Waiver of Liability form - copy to follow * Waivers in French, English or Spanish
DRUG TESTING
Drug testing for standard IOC banned drugs. Procedure, banned drug list and general information to follow. * Testing to USOC/IOC standards
REFEREES
Each country should bring one or more world qualified referees. A tentative advance list indicating names and numbers of referees; playing referees and their divisions would assist scheduling VISAS: It is anticipated some persons may experience visa difficulties; please apply early, so solutions to denials may be sought. A letter of official invitation and a letter of 'sport validation' from the USOC will be available.
SCHEDULING
Any division with more than 12 teams will be divided into two sections: A & B as outlined in new rule
MISCELLANEOUS
Team to bring national flag and cassette tape of anthem (flag size and other details to follow *) recommend: international travel health insurance
