Lewis Tackitt's Parents are believed to have been: Phillip Jackson Tackitt, 1770/1780- June 7, 1850, of North Carolina and Rachel McGowen, 1820-after 1850, of Gasconade Co, MO.

Phillip Tackitt's Father was: William Tackitt, Sr, born in 1750 in Virginia, and died in Wayne Co, Kentucky.

William Tackitt's parents were: John Tacquette and Rosannah.

John Tacquette's parents were: Lewis Tacquette and Mary Sarah Spiller. Lewis is believed to have been the only male Tackett to come to America that had children.

Daniel Plowman's parents were Henry Plowman and Sarah Graham.
