Mike Vernon had a great year in 1996-1997. He only played in 33 games in the regular season, but he played in 20 games during the play-offs winning 16 of them. In the play-off's Mike had more wins then he did all of the regular season. Mike had a great play-of and was awarded the Conn Smythe trophey as play-off MVP. Also on March 26 1997 he got his 300th win with a win over the Colorado Avalanche. I don't know what I enjoyed more, seeing Vernon kick the @#$% out of Roy, or seeing him get his 300th win. Vernie had a GREAT season!!!!!
