The Lifting
--- to people who have the courage to face life's obstacles

So the gentle wind blows over.
The rose pedals dance across the yard.
Gloomy moonlight decorates the wall.
The crickets sing the songs of despair.

An old garden bears the story of several lifetimes.
Bushes grow over the rusty wall
Making paths for empires of roaming snakes and snails.

Yet just a few of them
Will Scarlet* bloom in the corner.
Lifting its body with the summer breath.
gazing up the celestial.

Do you believe in courage?
