My name is Melissa Lyn Carter. I was born on September 28, 1980. Currently, I am twenty-six years old. In 2002, I received my Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with a minor in Philosophy from Hood College. Most recently, I have begun classes toward my Master's degree in Biotechnolgy from the Johns Hopkins University. Since January 2001, I have been employed with the United States Department of Agriculture as a Biological Science Technician. Our research foci are plants and plant pathogens. I live in Maryland with my guinea pig, Rascal. In the fall of 2006, I joined the Frederick Women's Soccer Club and play in the Intermediate Division on Team Buddy. I love my team and crave the agression release on Sunday nights. My domestic hobby is crocheting. I taught myself and really look forward to each project coming to completion. I am short on energy tonight, but this is a little about me....
