Local History

The Epsilon Delta chapter was formed on December 10, 1985. Its founding members were part of Binghamton University's second local sorority, Kappa Phi Delta. Epsilon Delta was refounded on February 19, 1992 by Sigma Beta Nu, another local sorority. The history of the Epsilon Delta chapter is rich in tradition and spirit which is felt by all its sisters.

Epsilon Delta has many sisterhood events. Besides formals, mixers and other fun events we feel we should give something back to others. Our Dream Date Auction is one of the most popular and widely attended events on the Binghamton Campus. Both Greeks and Non-Greeks alike come to see this event which benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The chapter also holds a Twister-A-Thon in the fall to raise funds for ANAD. In addition, Epsilon Delta performs a lot of community service. In fact, D-Phi-E has earned awards for their activities, so check it out.
