"Why not?" you say, "A little bang isn't going to make me crawl
into a corner."
"Really, well then, let's go!" Jim answers.
"Be careful guys, you never know what could happen, besides I am
starting to get an uneasy feeling as well." Mary advises
You really don't want to go, but you feel that you must go
otherwise Jim will think really think you are a coward. The
two of you go outside to investigate. It is still very cold
and you let out a shiver as the night air grips your body. You
can't see very much but you can see Jim's outline as he walks
ahead of you. About 5 minutes later, Mary screams from inside
the cabin. The two of you rush back to see what is wrong. It
takes about 2 minutes to get back to the cabin from where you
and Jim were searching.
You enter the cabin and see Mary standing in the enterence.
"Mary, what's wrong??!!" you ask her
"Nothing is wrong" she says blanky, almost numbingly.
Both you and Jim look at each other. You know something
isn't right with her.
"Hey, where is Nick??" you say with a little shiver
"I have no idea" she answers in monotone
The way she says it gives you shivers. Mary is sure acting
strangely. Then before you even realize that it is happening,
Mary starts to change. Her eyes get as big as marbles and
her teeth get longer. She lets out a growl, like a dog
whose territory was trampled upon, and leaps for Jim's throat
through the air. You can see, through the corner of your eye,
a feature gliding through the air for you. Your body spasm's
in reaction to it and dodges the flying body. A vampire!
You know it is, you remember seeing one as a kid, but you thought
that they were wiped out 10 years ago! Obviously not! And
now Mary had become one and was attacking Jim. The
vampire after missing you, landed on the cieling of your cabin
with a loud BANG! The same bang you heard earlier!
You know that if you could kill the vampire that made Mary one, then Mary
would become human again. But if you were to kill Mary, then the lead vampire would loose his strength and die.(contrary
to popular belief) You have your pocket knife on you. You
could rush to Mary, kill her and save Jim. (Also contrary
to popular belief, vampires can be murdered in the same ways
a human can) However, you can see the vampire who just nearly
attacked you on the cieling at the far end of your cabin, you
have always been a good aim, maybe you could throw the knife at
him and save both Mary and Jim. Now keep in mind there is only
a few seconds between the time in which Mary started her attack
and your decision on who to try and kill. You must act quickly!
