MATHEOS DONATION REALLY ADDS UP MATHEOS of the '60s A group of generous alumni have established a Professorial Chair in Mathematics with a donation through FUPFA. Matheos of the �60s - mathematics graduates, lovers of mathematics, and friends of the University of the Philippines Mathematics Department, Diliman, Quezon City, have placed $10,000 in a perpetual trust fund, the earnings to endow The MATHEOS of the �60s Professorial Chair in Mathematics. The group bestowed the gift to the university to express their gratitude for the excellent training and mentoring they received from the UP Mathematics Department. "We are also cognizant of the warm friendship and rapport that existed among the faculty and students during our college days.
