Welcome to the Alabama State VICA!! I am Charles E. Fabbrini. I am the Postsecondary Secretary. My classmate (Stacie Studdard) is the Postsecondary President, William Kinney is now our State Post-Secondary Vice-President. Ryon Slaughter is our State Post-Secondary Treasurer. For Secondary officers they are: Kristen Pittit-Secondary Reporter, Joey Jacobs-Secondary Treasurer, April Stanford-Secondary Secratary, Jim Sherer-Secondary Vice-President, and last but not least Anthony Coffield-Secondary President. We were elected at State Contest on April 25th! The Contests were from 24th to the 25 in Montgomery Alabama. We had a Leadership Camp on June 9th and 10th, which Stacie Studdard won an award for best workmenship..so congrats to her!! we had Nationals from June 28th to July 3rd in Kanasas City Mi, in which case we have 2 National officers: Post-Secondary National Treasurer-William Kinney and secondary Vice-President of region 2: Anthony Coffield! so congrats to both and I know they will both represent Alabama with greatness!! Ryon went for Architectural Drafting and placed in the top 10..so congrats to him, Kristen won the american Spirit award for the 2nd time at Nationals congrats to her....Joey went for Occupational Safety (I think) and placed 1st so congrats to him...and April went with her Opening and Ceromony team but did not make it to the finals and they did the best job they can....so congrats to them!! We have a Professional Development Conference on Tuesday the 27th and Wednesday the 28th in Birmingham Alabama. All State Officers will be there...the delagation will be split....High School will be most likely on Tuesday and College on wednesday so if you happen to be in Birmingham Alabama on those 2 days stop bye!! it wil be at the jefferson Civic Center!! On October 8th and 9th we will be in Birmingham , AL for our Fall Conferance! We will be with 6 other student organizations. It will have all of the State officers from the different organization. Alabama SkillsUSA-VICA will be doing a 45 min thing about parlaminatry procedure at the conference! I will take pics of the conference and put them here on this site for everyone to see!!
