While the information associated with this format code will not be printed on a Bible page, it does provide the information needed by various software used for CATP and typesetting. In addition, this information is printed on the galley page outside of the page trim area. This provides a means for accurate identification of the material being printed, especially in a print shop where the language is not spoken.
