This page is entended for Festiva enthusiasts only. If you do not
own a Festiva, you will probably find this page rather boring. It is intended
solely for owners who are looking to do a little something to their car, and don't
have a hot rod mag to order out of. Besides, most people probably cannot tell the difference between
my car and a stock version.
This page is a work in progress, and did not exist before 1/31/2k, so please bear with me.

Here are some pics of some mods on my Festiva. They are taken with a cheapie little
digital camera, and I may slowly replace them with some scanned photos as time goes on.
The pictures may be blurry, but overall you can get the picture. For any aspiring Festivian,
I've included the donor cars of the mods, and their approximate price, but sadly I don't remember
the exact make/model of all the mods. (If the exact make/model is listed, then it's not a guess, though).
Here's a side/back view of a spoiler I picked up from a mid 80's mitsubishi.
Cost: $15 + paint.
I made clear blinkers for the festiva by grinding down some backup lights from an
old station wagon at the pull yard. The best fit (i.e. least amount of work required)
was actually the backup lights from a Dodge Colt sedan, but the lenses were cracked so
I had to do things the harder way. Est cost: $8
I also installed Ford mudflaps for no apparent reason whatsoever.
Looking to spice up the interior? A little bit of touch-up paint goes a long way
on the radio trim and bezel surrounding the speedometer. JC Whitney sells
carpet dash covers for the Festi, and the chrome logo is from an 88 LX in the
junkyard.
While a chrome shifter may look nice, it's a really *bad* idea. In the summertime
the chrome gets real hot, and in the winter it is freezing. I've switched back to
the shifter from an LX model Festiva, and although not as pretty it is a lot more
functional.

power mirrors (Donor car: 88LX)
changed the grill to black (Donor car: 88L)
replaced instrument cluster to new one with tachometer & trip meter (Donor car: 88LX)
replaced center console (Donor car: 88LX)
Installed "Map Holders" in doors (Donor: 88LX)
