2.1.1 Use an internet search engine to find details of three different electronic mail packages. copy and paste the details into a Word document.

Next use a on-line dictionary to find the definition of electronic mail. Add this definition to your Word document.

Finally at the bottom of your document add your college or home email address. Print out your document as evidence.

2.1.2 From your icons on your desktop, choose First Class. This is the college's email package.

Move about through the program looking at the pull-down menus and reading the definitions of the toolbar buttons.

Open each of the desktop icons and read the conference items there.

2.1.3 You are to set up two mail folders within your mailbox. One to be called Telematics Work which is to hold any messages your tutor sends you regarding this course. And one called Personal Mail to hold any personal messages you receive.

2.1.4 Ensure that all your messages are in the correct folders and all your folders are closed down before exiting the software in the correct sequence.
