Alumni Picnic /Meeting

On Saturday July 21, 2001 we held the first meeting/social event of the new alumni association of the Phi Theta chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha. Our goal for this day was simple. We wanted to have an event in which the brothers of Phi Theta could get together for one day during the summer and socialize. The event turned out to be a huge success!! The day was broken into two parts:  A meeting and a picnic.

The Meeting:  Our main goal for the meeting was to discuss with some of the brothers some of the things we have been trying to accomplish. We talked about the current state of the Undergraduate chapter, Homecoming plans, Alumni officers and Alumni dues. Please click on the link below for more information about alumni officers and dues. The Picnic: In the afternoon the alumni and undergraduate chapters hosted a picnic for alumni and their families. This event was held at Bur-Mil park in Greensboro and was a huge success. We had over 30 brothers show up with their families. Below is a list of the brothers that attended. As you can see we had a large range of Phi Theta numbers represented which helped make the event a huge success. I have included some photos of the picnic as well
